I’m so excited to bring you this review of the Mo+m baby carrier! I’ve tried so many wraps and carriers this past year it’s not even funny! I had finally settled on an Ergo carrier because it was the most comfortable for me and Kaia. Let me tell you, I received a promo code to purchase this Mo+m carrier at a discounted price, and I am absolutely in love with it! It is SO comparable to the Ergo carrier and for a more budget-friendly price!

I was so excited when this arrived in the mail that I opened the box immediately and out came that glorious new carrier aroma! All of you babywearing Mommas know what I’m talking about! I of course had to try it out right away, so I read the included instructions and adjusted the straps before putting Kaia in it. I actually feel that the buckles on this carrier far exceed the buckles on my other carrier because not only do they feel more durable, there is a little button that you have to press before being able to release the buckle clip. It’s a great safety feature! Although, it does make it a little difficult to unbuckle it when you’re done carrying your baby. I’ll take it though because I’d rather have the extra safety!

Once I got Kaia in the carrier and hip-scooted her to my back, I adjusted her to get her into a nice seated position. The carrier was a little stiff, which is to be expected since it is new, but we were able to get a nice deep seat! Definitely pay attention to how your baby is positioned in the carrier! After snapping the picture above, we went for a walk around our neighborhood and she didn’t become uncomfortable once. Usually she will freak out if she’s not comfortable. I was pretty comfortable as well, even with it not broken in! I didn’t feel like the carrier was pulling on me and her weight was distributed evenly.

Something that is a real plus with this carrier is that it has a mesh cooling vent that makes babywearing in the summertime not only bearable for baby, but a lot safer too! It will help to keep the air flowing and cool baby down. There is also a hood that protects your baby from the sun and/or rain! I put it over Kai’s head and she actually ended up falling asleep! Another great feature is the storage pockets! You can put your keys, or phone, or any of your other essential items into the pockets so that you can stay hands-free! It also folds up easily so that you can throw it in your diaper bag and take it with you wherever you want to babywear.

This carrier is best to use for children 4 months to 3 years old (or 12 lbs. to 36 lbs.). It is NOT recommended for babies who are under 4 months old or cannot hold their heads up. Please babywear responsibly and ALWAYS listen to the safety guidelines! One of the most important rules of baby wearing is to not have your babies legs dangling as it can actually lead to hip dysplasia. This carrier is designed to simulate natural positioning as if you are holding your baby with your hands thus making it one of the safer carriers on the market. The Mo+m carrier also allows you to carry 3 different ways — front (not outward facing though), side, and back giving you a chance to find a carry that works best for you and your little one!

Overall, I am loving the Mo+m carrier! The material that it’s made out of is not rough on your skin and more importantly not rough on your baby’s skin. Kaia absolutely loves being carried in it which is basically all I need to know! Haha! Definitely check this carrier out if you are in the market for a baby carrier! I truly think that you won’t be disappointed!
