My daughter loves Tinkerbell. I mean, absolutely LOVES her! There’s been times when I haven’t been able to soothe her when she cries, and the moment I turn on the opening scene of Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue, she immediately calms down. Continue reading
So, I’ve recently been teaching myself how to crochet with the help of Pinterest and YouTube videos. I’m by no means an expert crocheter, but I think I’m doing pretty well. Crocheting is starting to get easier for me and I attribute a lot of my success to using stitch markers. Continue reading
If you have been following my blog, or follow me on my social media accounts, then you already know that I am a complete fan-girl of the Little Green company! I was introduced to the brand when I was asked to review their Little Green Baby Essentials Set (which you can purchase here–it makes the PERFECT baby shower gift). Since then, I have used nothing but Little Green products on Kaia because they are safe, gentle, and pure and I feel 100% comfortable using them on her because they are free of any harsh chemicals!
Laundry in my house has always been a pain in the butt, and after Kaia was born, it only got more tedious. So many little clothes that I had to worry about! I’ve lost so many baby items between transferring them from the washer to the dryer and also from the dryer to folding, that I have lost count. I’ve tried a few different brands of laundry bags and they’ve all gone straight into the garbage because they were poorly made and ending up getting destroyed during the spin cycle. Fortunately, I was able to try out this 3-piece set of wash bags from Fresh Delicates and I’m very impressed!
Not only are the bags very well-made, they also come in three different sizes to accommodate every load size. It’s so great because even if I only have a few things to put in the bag, the smallest bag is the perfect size! In addition, I’m able to wash my own delicates without having to worry about them getting ruined or caught on anything in the wash.
I really wish that I found these wash bags sooner because then I may have kept the laundry casualties down and I wouldn’t have lost Kaia’s absolutely adorable socks that she got from my baby shower. Overall, I really like these bags and I use them during every load! Whether it’s to keep Kaia’s clothes separate from our clothes, or taking care of my delicates, they work great! I never thought that I needed wash bags but these have absolutely proven me wrong! If you’re interested in purchasing them, they are available on Amazon at an awesome price! Here is the link:
I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my genuine and honest review.
I’m always a fan of trying baby products that offer alternative ways to help discomfort rather than using medicine. I’m not in any way saying anything bad about parents that choose medication, but for me, I try to hold off until absolutely necessary. I had never known about Baltic Amber teething necklaces until I had Kai, but I’ve done quite a bit of research on them since having her and I’m definitely a fan! Continue reading
I’m so excited to team up with Two Rivers Coffee Co. to bring you this giveaway for their delicious sampler pack of Iced Teas! Now, I know that we’re already heading towards the end of summer (seriously, how is it already August?), but if you’re anything like me, you can drink Iced Tea at any time during the year! Before I had Kaia, I made sure that we had all the essentials. One of the things I made sure we had was sun shades for the car. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how much of a pain in the butt they were going to be. The suction cups don’t stay suctioned all the time and my husband forgets that they’re there when he rolls down the back windows. I was so happy to be able to review these suction cups-free sun shades due to all of that! Continue reading
On July 21st, my family and I suffered the devastating loss of our beloved Kona. It’s been an extremely hard time in my household and we have some very upset humans and furbabies. Kona was going to be 9 years old on September 25th and from what my husband and I have researched, that is such a great age to reach in the life of a Boxer. Kona was the best dog! He was my first dog. When I moved in with my husband, I also moved in with Kona and his Boxer sister, Katana. Kona was just such a bear and was the best most well-behaved dog. He never barked, always took care of his brothers and sisters, and loved Kaia. He didn’t mind when she would plop down on him and he always accepted her kisses. He just had a presence that made you love him so much! He made you feel better just being in the same place as him. He will forever be missed! Continue reading
